Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PitchIn Solutions, trading as PlainSight Reporting, handles personal information connected with our website, products, purchases, waitlists and customer support.

Your business source files stay with you.
PlainSight Ready processes the customer and sales files you select locally in your browser. Those source files are not uploaded to PlainSight Reporting servers as part of normal product use.

1. Who we are

PlainSight Reporting is supplied by PitchIn Solutions. In this policy, “PlainSight Reporting”, “PitchIn Solutions”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the PlainSight Reporting website and supplying PlainSight Ready.

  • communicate information reasonably connected with your purchase or enquiry.

We do not sell customer personal information to advertisers.

5. Business data used in PlainSight Ready

PlainSight Ready is designed to process source business data locally in your browser. The customer and sales files selected inside the product are processed in the customer’s browser and are not uploaded to PlainSight Reporting servers during ordinary use.

You remain responsible for the information placed into PlainSight Ready, including ensuring that you have authority to use it and that it is handled consistently with your own privacy, confidentiality and legal obligations.

If you voluntarily send us source files, extracts, screenshots or other business data for support, we will handle that material for the purpose of responding to your request. Avoid sending personal or commercially sensitive information unless it is genuinely needed.

6. Service providers and disclosure

We may disclose personal information to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the business, process purchases, deliver the product or respond to enquiries. These providers may include:

  • Stripe for payment processing and checkout;
  • Zapier for workflow automation;
  • Microsoft 365 and Outlook for email delivery and communication;
  • Google Drive for securely storing the product delivery file;
  • Netlify for website hosting and website-form processing; and
  • professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required or permitted by law.

Each external provider operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We only seek to share the information reasonably required for the relevant service.

7. Overseas processing

Some service providers operate globally and may process or store personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries in which they or their subprocessors operate. The precise location can vary over time and by service configuration.

Where the Australian Privacy Principles apply to us, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances when engaging service providers that may handle personal information overseas.

8. Storage, retention and security

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably required for the purpose it was collected, including delivery, support, accounting, tax, dispute-management and legal requirements. Information that is no longer required may be deleted, de-identified or retained where permitted or required by law.

9. Access and correction

You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you, or to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Some legal exceptions may apply. Where we refuse a request, we will explain the reason where required.

10. Marketing and waitlist communications

If you join the PlainSight Online waitlist, we may contact you about product development, early access and launch information. You may opt out at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.

Operational messages about an account, subscription, billing, support request or important product matter are not treated as promotional marketing.

11. Privacy enquiries and complaints

Contact us if you have a privacy question or believe we have mishandled your personal information. Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the concern.

We will acknowledge and review complaints within a reasonable time. Where the Privacy Act applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, products, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this website with its updated date.
